ADTRAN and Cisco Education Ecosystem have collaborated together to offer a donation program by offing an ADTRAN ATLAS 550 for WAN Emulation to qualifying schools. To qualify for an Education Ecosystem donation, you must be an active Cisco Networking Academy Program located in an U.S. Empowerment Zone, U.S. Native American Reservation or Least Developed Country.

The "Cisco Networking Academy WAN Emulation Kit" is part of the Academy Program's required equipment list for the Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), which includes the ATLAS 550 and all the accessories necessary to emulate WAN services including Frame Relay, ISDN and Analog (POTS).
Information and training on the ATLAS 550 is included in the CCNP curriculum.
Academies may also choose to purchase the ATLAS 550 as a supplement to their CCNA. Please note that there is no instruction, training, or support provided by Cisco for Adtran equipment used at the CCNA level of instruction.
